This site (as you should know) is a Fan Site of the book saga, Twilight, which includes New Moon, Eclipse
and Breaking Dawn. I've created this site as a way to expess my love for the saga in my own way.
The title of the site, The Dawn is Breaking, has actually nothing to do with Twilight at all. It's actually
a quote from the hit musical CATS. I love the musical with a firey passion (and have since I was 5), and so it only made sence
to put the two together. Besides, I thought it fit Twilight.
I first read Twilight dring the first week of the summer break in 2008. My friends suggested the book and insisted
I read it. I took it to the cottage with me, since chances were there would be rain. I read it in two days, two very sunny
days. I thought it was amazing. My favourite character was immediatly Alice Cullen, because of her bubbily and upbeat attitude.
Besides, she is so adorable!
I read New Moon and Eclipse during the rest of the summer so I'd have something to do all summer long.
Both books were great, but not quite as great as I'd found Twilight to be. However, my passion for the series still
grew. When my friend gve me Breaking Dawn, I just couldn't seen to find reasons to keep reading it. It's long and
rushed storyline seemed to ruin the series for me, and it took me several months to finish it. It had no climax to it, and
everything seemed rushed and unplanned. It bothered me how much happened in such a small book at once. A wedding, a pregnancy,
a birth, Bella being turned into a vampire, Jacob inprinting on Renesmee, and the the Volturi coming to get them? Problem
with this is, you can't put this into two seperate books because the pregnancy is due to the wedding and honeymoon, which
just leads me to believe the book really was the worst out of the four.
Don't get me wrong, I still enjoyed the book, just not nearly as much as the other three. It dragged certain things along
way to long. And then somethings happened so fast! It was just chaos. The saga did need an another book to complete the saga,
yes, but it could have been written better.
